This is an adult male patient with a rare devastating disorder named Parry-Romberg Syndrome which causes a progressive shrinkage and degeneration of the tissues beneath the skin, usually on only one side of the face (hemifacial atrophy) but occasionally extending to other parts of the body. This patient's deformed and shrunken facial bones were reconstructed with porous polyethylene. His soft tissues were regenerated and repaired using multiple injections of his own harvested fat and platelet-rich plasma. Only the lower half of his face is shown to protect the patients identity.
